Hello all,
Just got back from the Festival of the Unexceptional at Claydon Estate in Buckinghamshire. I’d heartily recommend this to anyone who has fond memories of everyday cars of the 60s, 70s and 80s.
There was possibly more interesting metal in the car park than the show itself. Didn’t see any R4’s (criminal!) but spotted the following...
R6 MK1 in the parking area looked like an honest workhorse -
A Mk2 model was in the concours - looked like they’d polished the original paint (through to the base in places) and refurb’d the wheels - lovely comfy looking interior -
