STARTER MOTOR compatibility

Hi, does anybody know if the Lucas B90 starter would fit my 1982 1.1 F6 ?

Haven't a clue. Though there was a fair bit of commonality among the Sierra series of engines (1108cc was one of them). I think the starters are all interchangeable, though the style of fixings varies. Some use nuts and bolts and others have threaded inserts in the starter.

It is actually a Lucas LRS121 B90 and it's just that I've found a 1991 recon' unit which is supposed to fit - on a number of Renault models according to the box including - R4, R5, R6, R8, R10, R12, R15 and also Volvo (DAF) 66 but am not 100% sure it is for the 1.1 ?

Here is a pic - and it looks the same as far as I remember ?

I'm 95% sure that'll fit a R4 1108cc engine. Don't have a lookup, but the engine the other cars have in common is the same one.
