HI ya Soon going to install transistorised ignition from Powerspark it is the Sparkrite sx400. Had one on a mini and it worked ok so going to give it go on Irma.

Look forward to hearing about your experiences as i am still sitting in the fence and this was one on my list to consider

In my 34 hp GTL 1.1 the original ignition coil was swapped with one that has IGBT switch in it. It made a huge difference, the car is running much better especially when accelerating at low RPMs. Now I don't know weather the original one was not in a perfect condition/adjusted correctly and that caused the problem, or it was just like that by design.

Hi Fitted sx4000, very easy. Been using it now for about a week and definitely starts more easily. Seems to run a bit better at mid range so far.
