Vast quantity R4 spares for disposal - free

A very (very) large quantity of used R4 spares for disposal. The remains of 25 years' obsession with R4s - now need to be cleared. Doors, bonnets, bumpers, wheels, engine and electrical parts, driveshafts, starter motors, used body panels, windows. Used items - generally sound and restorable. Mainly from 1970s 845cc models with a few GTL items. Enough to fill at least one large Transit. Was going to eBay them but if anyone would like to come and take them away they are welcome to do so. There are also two rather tatty chassis (complete though need welding), two car hulks and one complete, probably restorable, 1977 R4TL (I'd want some contribution for this). Can send photos. Hi,
Would your '77 happen to have a sunroof?. Not sure if you want to dispose of parts separately but I'm also looking for a decent tailgate for my '76?, it's been dinged in the past and doesn't quite fit properly.

Hello - No sunroof on the '77, unfortunately. There are several tailgates, in various states of repair, in the lot I'm selling. I'd prefer to dispose of the whole lot in one go but am open to offers if anyone wants a reasonable quantity of bits.

I am after a few bits for a Renault 4 GTL and I don't know if you might be able to help. In particular I am after the front and rear bumpers, both front wings and a radiator. Unfortunately I do not want the job lot but I am sure we can agree a price for any parts if you can help.

The GTL bits in the pile consist of a rear bumper, a starter motor, oil pump, steering rack, alternator, front and rear doors, bonnet. Condition varies. There is a Type 354 gearbox (complete) - I think this is off an 845cc but the only difference between that and the GTL is the final drive pinion which could be swopped if you're feeling energetic.
Anyone is welcome to any individual bits so long as they collect them - see phone number.
27th July - I have found that I do, after all, have a GTL radiator (used) plus a tatty GTL exhaust system, a gear lever and a few other small bits.

I suspect the current bidder is a forum member. Whoever buys do offer on here what you don't want. It would be a shame especially to lose any half decent doors from external hinge pre-81 cars. Or any half decent boot lids. The doors rust around the window frames and later at the bottom. The boot lids rust at the bottom. Any with no such rust would be well worth saving.

I've sent the buyer a message suggesting he might like to advertise anything he doesn't want on here. Would be a great shame if anything of any use were to go to scrap.

I'd been planning to put a bid in if no-one else was interested just to save the bits, but was busy cooking up an original chicken based meal for visitors and the eBay thing had disappeared by the time I got back to the computer.
