..Right team, I would like to sort out my R4 excess wheel situation and the options are these:

Would anyone like to buy my 4 very good and almost rust free R 4 wheels for £60. They will need tyres

If not, would anyone like to buy my 4 Alpine wheels with very good tyres for £160?

My preference is to sell the Alpine wheels..

1st Pic - Normal R4 wheels - Hubs are fab, will need new tyres

2nd Pic - What I call Alpine wheels - Hubs and tyres are fab

Both will fit your 85 GTL Mark I hope!!

A Deal! I need a spare so now I can replace the four corners - and will be offering '3 wheels off my wagon' !

Still doesn't solve the rusty chassis but hey ho ... a step at a time!

I still have three 135/80s tyres (two of which are on non-R4, four stud rims) for free! They are a tiny bit worn, but too good to throw away (we don't do enough miles in the R4 to need new tyres for years).

Can be collected from Buckinghamshire, or the May Kent Run.

Hi Mark,

the three tyres are yours! You'll need a friendly tyre fitter to take them off my old rims and put them on yours, but it's better than throwing them away (the old rims are no use to me at all - 4-stud, not Renault 4).

Looking forward to meeting you in Kent (or Milton Keynes).

I hadn't entirely forgotten!

I was hoping that the chap would have given you an apology and asked you whether (if you were passing in that direction again) you would again go out of your way to help him.

Oh well, just have to wait and see. I hope they are not taking up too much room and causing a problem?
