So after a little rest I am back in France to collect my new land rover, not in the R4 though so I can't add this 1000 miles to my clock. It's all go go go when your in the fast lane!

Michael is a genius but and this is a big BUT, he is also mad as a March Hare as we all know.

He has even flogged the engine to another mad French Landrover nut who flagged him down on the motorway home!!

How does he do it, I cant even sell my own Grandmother on Ebay?

Haha! Not another one! The vendee BX used a litre of green blood in 3 days last week and a certain lady is not too impressed but it must be saved from scrap so yes. I need to check with work tomorrow but I think the first week in October is still free. Any good?

My new BX however is lovely. A small injection pump tweak and it's like a turbo diesel.

I see there is a very nice fermette up your way too pepper on LBC

Part two

We progress,

The chassis upgrades have now been made and i have booked it into Prostrip in Lincolnshire to get it acid dipped. On my way back from here, once i have collected it, i will take it straight to East Anglian Galv in Peterborough. Remembering to apply plenty of Copper Grease to bolts before screwing them into the relevant chassis threads such as the master cylinder threads because they will just simply unwind after the process that way. (galv doesn't stick to copper grease) ((fact of the day))

While that is away i am reconditioning the axles and cart springs and steering components so that upon my shiny fresh chassis returns it will be able to roll and steer instantly.

My deadline is the beginning of june as i am attending a wedding in Italy and it could be a fun journey!
