Hi everyone,

I have to replace the old ignition switch (renault 4) for a new one (key broke and stucked in the old one). The old one has 3 wires, the +, the A and the B. The new one comes with a push on connecter with 4 wires, red, white, browne and grey. Can anyone tell me how to connect the +, A and B with the new push on connecter? Thanks in advance!

I know, it´s a rebuild and it should fit. Can´t find anyway one that looks like the one I knocked out. But thanks for your reply.

It's possible that the new ignition switch has an "accessory" option, so that a radio, for example, can be used without the ignition being on, but will be switched off when the key is removed. Could be better than your old one anyway!

Might be but now the question is how to connect properly. The old wires are all black and don´t want to damage anything by connecting wrong.
