Hi all.
Can anyone out there help me locate a L/H/D passenger seat for a 4/f6 van/estate.
It's a Spanish 4/f6 Furgoneta Acristala. It's a double folding type to allow passengers access to the rear seats

Is that the one on eBay?

I would have thought so, maybe wrong. Petersfield and Tonbridge not that far apart.
Timing is everything they say, would have been ery interested if I had not just bought the F4

Hi Azazello.
Many thanks for the pics there great. Is it possible for a few more please. A vertical position and the locking mechanism/tilting photo??.

i would have thought that type of folding seat was standard to most renault 4 vans
even ones with out seats in the back my rodeo is obviously a 2 door vehicle with seats in the back they have modified the runners at the factory to tip forward

maybe adapting your seats to tip like this would be an easier option

i have actually got two of these this 1 is being stripped for parts and won't be going back together as such i am hoping to refurbish a renault 4 chassis and then start putting it all back together using the best of both cars if you want close up photos of the seat hinges i can upload some i may not even need the hinges depending on what seats i put back in the car later on

I'd like the photos of the hinges... i woul have fokding seats on my f4 in order of putting a plywood board on the floor from the rear bonnet to the dashboard and have enouh room to sleep inside...

it would seem that they riveted a hinge to the very front of the original runner and then fabricated a steel plate with a slot in it mounted 2 the cross member meaning with the addition of a steel pin welded into original runner when the seat is down it is securely located there is also a catch to hold the seat from tipping up i didn't realise the photos weren't too clear until after i had packed the runners away hope they make sense

if you need better photos i could take them back out of the the spares box and take a photo on a better white background perhapS on the ends of the runner drop down into a slot to keep the seat square and in the line
