We are new to R4's but used to love a 2cv. We moved to France last year (dept 53 Mayenne) and having a great time. Our neighbours find us very amusing - renovating wrecks (houses, cars - anything really!) but the french dont like to throw anything away so we fit right in and bizarrely most people have never heard of Ebay!

Hi Nelson, beautiful region Mayenne, my parents moved to a small village, Couesmes Vauce near Gorron just over two years ago and they love it.
Tried to get them to buy an R4, instead they bought an R20!

We are about 20 mins from Gorron - on the route to Fougeres! And yes it is beautiful here - lots of r4's around too. We have a gite for rent if anyone's interested.
