Brake Pipe unions

I'm fitting new pipes to my chassis, and the new metric unions don't fit the limiter valve and master cylinder. Advice sought on obtaining the right parts?

Thanks

Brake pipe unions were a bit of a mix and match. On my GTLs the front brakes have been metric and the rear brakes imperial. Most of my master cylinders have been metric.

For the imperial bits you'll need UNF fittings.

My local motor factor does them. Search google for unf brake fittings - plenty there. They are 3/8 inch.

All the 60/70s and some 80s with Bendix brakes should be imperial threads because they were English Lockheed/Girling systems. Automec in Bedfordshire can supply you with allthe parts in copper or as Malclom says any good motor factors should have them.
