Cannot open bonnet

Can anyone help! - the bonnet release lever in the car does not release the bonnet catch - is there a fix for this?

Happened to me as well and after about an hour, I just lifted the bonnet by hand as the catch wasn't even engaged. It's the spring that lifts the bonnet and if that has slipped off it doesn't pop the bonnet upwards, so it just stays flat. Give it a go!!

It does help if I use the correct release lever!!- its been stored for several years and I forgot which lever it was - I think was using the air lever not the bonnet release.
