looks like my unlucky streak continues, today I took my Fiat for an MOT and on the way had a puncture but the spare wheel was a space saver one so I had to cancel it.
I then decided to take the R4 for a run and the car suddenly stopped, when I opened the bonnet the new carb had flooded with petrol, not only that but I had to disconnect the petrol line to stop it from going all over the manifold, anyway I had another spare carb with me and changed it over without too much fuss and I was on my way again within 20 minutes.
The new carb was a refurbished one I bought from Ebay and I did have a bit of trouble with it from day one with it causing too much smoke, now I know why!
I was thinking of spending the day in bed tomorrow but the wife says she has made an appointment with the psychiatrist, not for me but for herself because I'm driving her crazy, I said to her at least it's better than driving her to the supermarket, roll on Christmas, can hear those jingle bells
