Connecting remote starter

I've bought a remote starter to check ignition spark, tach readings, etc. on my own. The instructions are good about giving instructions on how to disable the ignition (see below), but says nothing about where to connect the two remote starter wires. Any idea what should be connected where? Thanks.

One should go to the battery (+), the other to the small terminal on the starter motor solenoid (the one with a push-on Lucar connector). A little tricky to find or connect it on the 956 cc engine.

Much thanks for the reply. As soon as I get the car back from the garage (see the thread on my problems with the fuel gauge and turn signal conflicts) I'll hook up the starter and see what happens.
