Hello all...
Here's one for those of you with earlier cars:
I have a 1976 van - but it's French and based upon the 60's designs. So its got a 782cc engine for instance.
I have it on the ramp to do some undersealing, and notice a perished trackrod end gaiter. Thing is - the rod end as about a foot long, couples to the rack with a "U" joint and has no adjustment. Same the other side.
So - when I buy some new ones (assuming Pages or someone have them in stock), I SHOULDNT need to track it. However - how the hell do you?
Looks to me like the only way is to track using the front tie bar - which will of course also affect castor.
Help please!
