Hello and help!

Technical help required for a non mechanical non technical head.

My Renault4gtl has recently had the gearbox driveshafts replaced( I don't even know if the rear wheels have drive shafts or something else), and now an oil seals need replacing .
Q1. Are the seals for either side universal?
Q2. Is there a difference between an oil seal and an O ring?
Q3. Are both required?

Thank you Andy Mcghee for much previous helpfulness , and providing the pdf parts folder which I've printed for simplicity. Have also acquired a Haynes manual with gtl supplement.
I've found it no less difficult trying to locate a part number for the seal, mostly from not knowing what I'm looking for. For example, what part covers speedometer cable?

It would be wonderful to see an image of the seal / part needed to aid identification
I've looked at gearbox and include image of the riveted plate. It is a 354 and from reading other posts , it is a 36 54 7.5 size, wanted.

Thank you in advance for all help volunteered

Oil seals used for gearbox shafts ( simmerings ) and o-rings are completly diferent things. The're the same L/R side
If both are fitted both are required to be replaced
