Some of you may have noticed noticed I had bought a Renault 6 850 project car. When John and I went to pick it up we were impressed that after 20 years the wheels were not locked on.
Now I am stripping the car I discovered the reason was there was nothing inside the drums. In addition the handbrake had been disconnected.
I have resolved the contents of the front drums but there seems to be a bit of the handbrake mechanisim missing where the cables meet the operating lever.
I have been told it is the same as the R4 with front wheel handbrake.
Does anyone have a scrap car with this part please.Gary
