My radiator is leaking badly through the dashboard and down in the carpet. Has anybody here changed this radiator before? Is it difficult to do?

Not hard but time consuming job.
You need to dismantle whole dashboard to get access to radiator
And you need to be careful not to brake clips and fasteners that hold all plastic on and around dashboard.
I recommend you to wait summer so that plastic is more flexible. Left car turned to the sun and then start the job
