Hola, sorry about the late reply, not been on forum for ages, you've probably already bought one? we lived in Mallorca for 7 years and i drove my wife's R4 back to the U.K last year... You will need to go to 'traffico' the equivalent of Spanish DVLA with the owner to put it your name and pay a couple of fees and tick the box to say it is being exported. If you are driving it back? then you will have to chance it on the Spanish roads till you hit France, cos it no longer has legal paperwork, it's like it's been scrapped and should'nt be on the road, i had no problems, just made sure it had a Spanish m.o.t called an I.T.V ( sticker in front window with punch holes in it ) and insurance. We had Spanish insurance so that part was easy cos when we got back we insured it with 'Footman James' classic car ins. off of the chassis no. until we got it registered over here. If you could get the chassis no then i would insure it over here with euro cover? When you get back you will need to adjust the headlights(easy fix, just a little cut in each headlamp), put in a U.K speedo(tricky to find), rear fog-light put drivers side with light on dash or switch(garage), all of these i had help with from a member called Paul who specialises in R4's... Get these done, have an M.O.T done then go to your nearest DVLA office and register it and pay for road tax. Good luck. Mikey.
