There is a dutch guy that put a 1.4 injection engine of a post 85 R5 in to his R4 had to do a lot of work to make it fit. Especially getting the original gearbox fitted to the engine caused him some headaches.

Baron5 - yes, I'm not sure on the engine number - will see it on Thursday (I am hoping) but it is a transverse mounted post 85 so I believe not so easy to transplant ...

After a lot of thinking ... I have decided to keep the van original. She is very solid and it seems a shame to spoil a pretty, solid, original F4. So ... I will make her as good as she can be.

That also means I have a set of 4 original genuine Gordini rims with centre caps for sale ... and a r5 gt turbo (phase one) engine for sale if any one is interested.
