Hi gang! for any/all feeling let down and on the brink of hara-kiri I must apologize for not being able to attend. I know the hardship and agony you all must feel! I know the fact it was a succes(well-kind of)
can't help you overcome the great loss... c",) c",)
-In France for the moment, have been for the last week and a half and had to wait untill the Roffmobiles
overhauled 1400cc TX-engine was ready.
This must the first time Ever I'm looking forward to the hols being over so I can get it all implanted and working 2gether with the 5-speed long overdrive box.......
-Trailer-project Finally going somewhere-new shockers/wheel-bearings in,new longerons welded in.Work
on body progressing nicely,so it looks like Roffen will have a "follower" for next year....

This report just to say there IS someone loving you out there! Don't give up just yet ok? -R.

Collected my newly completely rebuilt and blueprinted 1400ccTXmotor today-All I can say is JEEEEZ!
it's actually Too good looking to hide under a bonnet.(I'll post some pixes after we get home to the old
grindstone)
Warning!-It's Pure PORN!
-I might have to get a HD-goldchain size of an anchor-chain and use motor as Bling!
Dare I say I damn nearly wet my paints.....

Now if anyone on here has a set of 4X13 Fergats to exchange for my NOS/unused 5,5 ones I'd be over the moon.

-Short visit at the Alpine-factory in Dieppe couple of days ago-got info they will present the new Alpine A110-50
in Sept (Alpines 60th anniversary) -I Really need to get that old Alpine fired up 'till then as I'm keen as H****to see
the new one in the flesh...
Also had a brief look at the Renault Sport-division (Newly set up company that takes care of sales ofall Alpine-parts
You might still order via Renault but they relay any/all enquieries through Alpine-parts division...

So what's the relevance of me mentioning Alpine on the 4-Forum you ask?? Have you seen the ease of cahnging the
logo from the A to the 4 I say...

Ok-'nuff rambling from me... Have a Good one! -R.

These would nice but bit too much money and 5.5 Why Do You Want 4.5 In Screenshot_2015-07-06-20-43-32.png

HI Paul! Yes these are the ones I have a full set of unused ones laying around..
I don't want to mess with both the feeling and the driveability of Roffen the 4
-also these 5,5 ones rubs a little bit on inside t'wards the swing-arms so I'd be
better off with the 4" wides or alternatively the 4,5" ones...
i've seen these 5,5 Fergats go for silly money here in France, also have offers on
mine but rather swap them for skinnier ones in same cond... -R.

And the bigger the tyres makes for higher gearing less rpm ☺
We are well off topic now
still it makes for great fun searching something you read on here a few months back that you want to refer to
There can be an issue with wider rims touching anti roll bar drop link on full lock one way if the track rod end adjustment is not centralised
The front suspension setup on R4 shares many components with mk1 5 so should not be an issue
I have actually got 5 gordini hubs brakes and shafts on yellow peril to go with the gordini gearbox
