Red GTL Cambridge

For a few years now I've had my eye on a red GTL in Girton which has been sat unused on a lady's drive. Last month it was still there but yesterday i noticed it had gone.

I wondered if it's gone to a member on here or been scrapped. I will be phoning the local scrap yards on Monday

I seem to think there was a post on the ROC facebook page a week or two back from someone who bought a GTL from Cambridge recently. Same one perhaps?

Hi Mike, I would be inclined to stop and ask her what happened to her car. Then the mystery will be solved.

For the past 3 years I've seen the roofs of two cars, just visible behind a woodpile in the next village. Two weeks ago, I saw the owner working in his garden and stopped to ask him what kind of cars they were. He invited me in and showed me two rusty old Dauphines behind the woodpile which are being used as donors for a third Dauphine that is being restored in his garage.

she wont be restoring it. she must be 70 at least. I did try to ask her about t years ago when the gearbox blew up but she d'dnt want to tell me anything about it
