I used to own a Renault 10 but only ever came across the odd moggy!

A few years ago, my wife and I were driving down M42 and had just joined the M40 heading south when we saw a black panther standing on the side of the motorway. Clearly visible, J tail, size of a small sheep.
Unmistakeable. Later we called the police and they have a wild animal unit that tracks these large cats. They said that there are several that migrate from the south up the cotswolds up to Derbyshire and beyond as the seasons change. When the dangerous animals act came in, the pop stars and actors with exotic animals just let them go, rather than face having to get a licence, The cats like moving along motorways because no people.
