Renault 5 reverse light

Hey guys

I have a Renault 5 from 1987.

It is in good condition apart from the reverese light not working.

Can anyone help me please as I have tried a new bulb and that doesn't change anything.

Please use simple words as I don't know much about cars.

Hi,

you could trying removing the plug off the reverse light switch, bridging the wiring plug connectors and then turn on the ignition. If the light works then the switch is faulty
