Now as I'm waiting for the last ferry to get home, I am contemplating on the little R4s performance, going to Gdansk from Denmark, over Femern, Greifswald, Peenemünde, the coast of Poland, and home from Gdansk in one drive to Rostock and the ferry to Denmark.
About 1700 km in six days, and no issues other than rough running and cut outs while coasting, both due to the sport exhaust. The carb needs an internal cleaning, the original exhaust needs to go back on, and it generally needs a load of tlc, but when that is said; it just keeps going.
75-95 km/h all day long, with two large guys, roof rack, loads of luggage, even also the mandatory 15 km of nearly not-moving queue in Germany in 30+ degrees
Now it will finally get some well deserved rest and each small improvement or point of fixing will be sorted out.
Then I might find a F4/F6 or maybe and Estafette to join it at some point
