Are you sure you've not got the time set for Europe? You can change the time settings in the User CP (left in the forum menu/toolbar) then in the Your control panel go to Settings and Optionsthen Edit OptionsScroll down to Date and time settings.

The forum is showing the correct time for me here in France as GMT +1

The forum software didn't used to have the option of adjusting between BST and GMT. I think they only sorted it out this year.

Setting your time in the way Claude suggested ought to work from now on.

Thanks Malcom et Claude, Apparently we go through our annual horological gymnastics here in the uk to please some obscure Scottish farmers who don't/can't/won't fit lights on their dilapidated tractors. They need an EEC grant for night vision goggles.
Many thanks for the fix. Discovering this CP has added a whole new world of hitherto undiscovered possibilities. I can now also stop endlessly checking my watch.
