Hi uomo, This information can be found in the vehicle handbook and also on the (vin)chassis plate. The plate sometimes states the towing capacity for both braked and unbraked trailers. Alternatively, the plate states the car’s Gross Train Weight (GTW). This is the combination of the car’s Maximum Permitted weight (MPW) or Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) and the trailers Gross Trailer Weight (GTW). To get your car's towing limit simply subtract the car's MPW from the stated GTW. It is illegal to exceed this car+trailer combined 'Gross Train Weight' limit.
