trouble staring

could any one help ive got a renault megane coupe.
and when i try to start the car it takes a couple of attemps the engine try's to turn over but won't start has any one got any idea whatbit could be /

Hi Jay, I assume it starts after a number of trys?
Check the Mass Air flow meter, Air Filter and Idle Speed control value. The latter usually requires a clean with carb cleaner.
It could also be a fuel pump or fuel filter issue. Has the car been serviced regulary?
