Windscreen Chrome trim.

Has any body found a supplier for a replacement chrome trim for the front windscreen.

Try www.phoenixtrim.co.uk, they supplied me with the nearest they could find to match the old trim. I think it could be as fitted to classic minis, and just needed a bit of heat to help it around the corners, but it works and looks great. Regards Brian.

There are two different kinds. It's probably the roundish one you are looking for.

I went through this exercise a few years ago.
I got a replacement from Lifestyle Renault for both the front and rear windscreens. It wasn't chrome in colour though, it was black. It looks good and it doesn't get that horrible ingress of green mould. It fitted straight in, no messing (with the right tools).

I also got some good samples that were a very good match to the original (and chrome) form classic car trim suppliers.

Edgware Motor Rubber and Woolies Trim spring to mind.

The plastic on my chrome effect trim had gone yellow and cracked so i just painted it with silver hammerite before popping it back in looks great compared with before (R4 GTL)
