Sorry, haven't checked here for a while ... yes, it is a 1989 1.4 TR, already with a catalytic converter, so it's 58HP instead of 60 ... it's as nimble as I remember these cars to be.
Both sides have some rust under the doors, but I got the side members, and they're currently being welded in. Curiously enough there's rust on the right front and left rear bumper holder ... the roof looks the bird toilet it's been for some time, but I've already sanded that, and it will get a nice coat of dark blue.
I've already replaced the exhaust starting from the catalytic converter, for the 200km run home I had to get the revs just right in order not to be too big a nuisance
The car should be ready for MOT by early next week, and then the R4 can rest over the winter.
