Zinc chassis coating

On a German www.ebay.de I found this chassis frame 130312159168 used while applying zinc coating. It is not the frame that caught my attention, the chassis looks very interesting.

Very cool - there doesn't look like much distortion in the floor panels from the photos.

I'd wondered whether to try to get a chassis galvanised. Normally any thin flat panels will buckle with the heat. That one doesn't look bad, but there's an Aston Martin chassis in the garage with maybe 10mm of buckling in the floor panels. Could depend on the galvanising company.

Chassis looks standard GTL to me with lots of other parts welded to the frame they are selling. Can't believe that frame is stiff enough to be of any use.

did they perhaps use the frame to stop it bending during the galvanising process?

There's a row of notches in the floor panel ahead of the rear crossmember. They aren't normal. Wonder if the floor has been bent down to stiffen it for galvanising?

Is it a frame, or yellow ratchet straps to stop it falling off the trailer?!:)
