Is there a set time limit for spotting the R4s and is this challenge open to those of us who live here in France? :D That said I think we've seen all the R4s in our area - well into double figures I think but we've not really been counting. Anyone who comes to visit us will get at least 2...

I've also been thinking about this as Claude has a tow bar fitted but not yet wired up - I keep putting the job off - Malcolms solution seems a nice tidy idea but would need another wire for the number plate light as that wires through the top of the rear door/hatch.

Claude - because of his registration number - but as he will soon be taking on french nationality he will that lose that number - but not his name!

I used to own a Kangoo but never managed to find a workshop manual in the UK - I think you could probably get a french one. I think the older Kangoos are based on the ClioII so a Clio manual might help for a lot of the stuff.

Thanks Paul Yes we were getting a few drips from Claude after the oil change. But don't tell P&O Ferries it was us :wink:. Our local DIY store in France sells them in a wide variety of sizes (they must all do their own oil changes over here :) ) Chris

Could anyone tell me the diameter of the sump drain plug as I will need some new copper washers at the next oil change (if not before :( ) - these are to fit a 1990 1198cc engine.

Update on my original post: Having checked that the system was bled properly the light was still coming on so I swapped the sender with the one from Claude - all seems OK so far. Mind you it could be that the sender from Claude doesn't work :? We are off to Clementines Renault 4 Garage...
