85 GTL Bendix Rear Brakes

Trying to replace the rear brake shoes on my GTL and failing.

The new shoes require the levers to be transferred over from the old shoes. Fine.

The problem is the adjuster ratchet section in the picture. It is peened over in the shaft on the back side of the shoe, so taking it off and refitting it is almost impossible.

I would be quite happy purchasing a new set of shoes with the adjuster already fitted- if I could be reasonably sure that what I was buying was any better than the bare new shoes I already have!

Anyone got any ideas where to get them from? All the ebay listings use generic pictures.

Part number or set number please?

Hi there guys, I was planning to do a brake overhaul this winter, new shoes, handbrake cables, and maybe cylinders too, so this info is very useful. Thank you to politeperson for bringing it up, and Andy for his usual very helpful response.
Regards Brian.
