'86 4l Loose Gearknob

Hello it's me again.
Silly question but does anyone know how to remove/replace the gearknob. It just spins around and is very annoying. I will araldite it on if I can get the b**ger off

As always any advice most welcome.

I improved mine once, then found I missed it spinning. Great stress relief in traffic to have a knob you can turn around.

We found the easiest thing to do was change it for another one - I totally destroyed the rattly one trying to get it off!
