Another action shot of Ronnie, this time about to go to the tip, or dechetterie in French. Notice the home made trailer.
I got the base, hook and wheels for €20 at a brocante. The sides are an oak door, condemned to builders skip in the UK skip because of two knot holes. I cut it into 4, for the three sides and the drop rear, and put champagne corks in the knot holes. Lined the floor with hard wood decking offcuts, again liberated from a skip. Its about 1m square, big enough for a builders bag full of whatever. Found the mudguards etc. Its done 7 years work, and sets Ronnie off quite nicely as a manly working vehicle !!!
