I think that I have holes here too in a LHD GTL. This is the left-hand inner wing looking when towards the front, yes?

Anyone else got these holes? I guess the LHD and RHD inner wings are the same?

Yes, the holes are on the L/H inner wing only. The R/H wing is utterly different.

They aren't used on the RHD GTL. I've got an original one and the holes are filled with the plastic underseal they used under the wing.

No idea what they were for.

We have 2 LHD R4's both about 1990 an F4 and a TL they both have these holes in the wing - nothing fastened to them. In fact we have quite a few unused holes in the wings (-no not rust holes ).

On some versions there was a flexible air intake tube going to the air filter attached there.
