I came across this on the internet ( active8 friction reducer )when a friend of mine advised me to use it with my next oil change, he said it actually lowered his emissions which allowed his old 1976 car to get through its MOT.
This is what is actually quoted on the ACTIV8 site.
ACTIV8 will reduce metal to metal wear significantly in both modern and older engines. ACTIV8 Lubricants recommend the Friction Reducer in ALL types. However, the older engine may provide a greater gain in performance and economy as ACTIV8 Friction Reducer may have overcome more frictional losses.
When you go on to the site and press the technical page then the (Test Report & Lubricity Test) it does seem very impressive to say the least, has any one tried this product.
