Alternator wanted

Hi. Just wondered if anybody has a 40 Amp alternator for an 1986 R4? Mine's just died! I'm guessing reconditioning is not worth it. Any help appreciated. First fault in a year and a half of daily use...can't complain really!!

best not buy that one as its for early R4 with seperate alternator control box
think all cars 83 on have 2 pin plug type certainly 86 will have
check photos to see what i mean

Hi. Thanks for the advice. I'll have to shop around. Lucas and Partco have them for around £70+VAT so looks like that's the route.
