Bonnet catch F6 Van

Does anyone know how to open the bonnet on an F6 when the catch is broken.
Pressing the button does nothing but if you pull the button it is free so I guess something is broken.

No idea, My only thought is if all else fails you can probably undo the nuts that hold the front down (As they are underneath the front) to lift it a bit to have a look.

Probably the end of the spring has fallen off it's holder - does that on mine all the time.

Try pushing the button all the way in and trying to open the bonnet. The bonnet won't pop up that first bit by itself so you'll need to get your fingers under the back edge to lift it.
