Brake master cylinder seals.

Just a word of warning.
I have been doing all the braking system on my 1975 R4 and thought I had better replace the rubbers in the master cylinder.
I bought a set on ebay and fitted them. All appeared ok. It worked fine on the bench. Worked ok on the car. I bled the brakes and was all set for my MOT the next day.
Following day I was about to take the car out of the garage and give it a quick road test but the brake pedal stuck down, or rather the master cylinder stuck.
On looking closer at the Haynes manual I noticed there were two types of seals and one had a distinct lip. I had thought my old seals were so worn that the lip had disappeared, but no they were different.
I had to strip out the master cylinder again, replace the top dust seal with the old one ( the main seal appears to be the same luckily) and put it all back together. MOT passed.
