Hi James
First of all, don't worry - the parts are easily available.
Perhaps you already know this, but you need to establish whether your braking system is Bendix (sometimes called DBA/Bendix), or Girling (sometimes called Lucas/Girling).
These pages may help:
Bendix or Girling?

Identifying the system by looking at the front calipers:

Neither method is foolproof, though - the only sure way is for the garage to remove one of the rear drums and take a picture of the assembly if they aren't sure. This wouldn't take long - no more than half an hour.
Once you've found out which system you've got, make sure you get a pre-assembled brake kit (rather than just the shoes) - this includes 2 cylinders and shoe kits for both sides (they include everything you need - springs, fitting parts, etc. ), and you'll save yourself a lot of money in labour costs this way - at least the cost of the brake set.
If you have a Bendix system, you can get a pre-assembled kit here:

They're a really good, reliable company and deliver quickly.
I've used the Ferodo FMK054 kits on my cars, and they save you/your garage a lot of time!
Anyway, hope this helps - I'm sure your car will soon be back on the road!
If you have a Girling system, I'm sure someone on here will help - I don't have any experience of that system.
