Building an Plein Air replica?

As it is becoming very hot over here I am thinking of building an Plein Air replica. Yesterday I saw a beautiful old convertible Beetle Are there any drawings or plans how to make one?

Plein Air Replica

There is also a very good section on how to do it in Renault 4 Workshop Manual M.R.61, pages N -79 to N - 89. It's actually more on the repair of a plein air from bottom up. So everything is detailed including what was done in the original transformation.
