Please note my lovely 1986 R4 GTL under its cover near the SM :D:D

Now I have to refit all the parts on the cars without damaging anything... the most pleasant part of job but also the most stressing one !...

And one more WOW!

I already tought you forgot about this place!
I am glad project is still alive.
Keep on.

P. S. We like pictures :)

Excellent job mate!
Be aware: the original valve wee made of sodium (if i recall correctly - with temperature control in mind) and tended to brake quite easily.
So be sure to change them for ones made of steel.

Keep up the good work!

Best regards.

Hi everyone,

still not finished... the hardest restoration I've ever done, and undoubtly the longest one too....

The car is almost completly finished, ok, but I forgot this is a SM and not a R4, this is the reason why even if you work on it during 6 years, it won't be perfect when you'll finish it, indeed there are many adjustments and sets up to do, and unfortunatly I'm not able to do them by myself. At the end of the last year I decided to bring it (in a luxury trailer   ) to the specialist who restored the engine, he's one of the most famous SM specialist in France, and I'm sure the car will be perfect when he finsihed working on it.

Here is the car in his workshop, i think he maybe started to work on it at this time, and I hope maybe one of these days I will (at last) drive my car... But I have to admit it's very frustrating to work on a car during 6 years, spending all your money in it, hoping to enjoy it, and finally having to give it to another guy to make it working properly...
