Happen to be online and spotted your thread. Do you have a late Renault 4tl (845cc) Circa 1983-1986 with such an engine number? I might be able to assist with the distributor but as a number of types of distributors were fitted, it would be easier to work out via the distributor name and number stamped on your distributor, internal and external images would be great too. My email is: christianebeyer@yahoo.co.uk
Hi
Thanks, I am trying to get the info as the car I have, had the distributor taken off to fix someone else's car. But I know who has it so have asked for a photo and numbers off it and will email later.
Many thanks
Apologies for delay in replying. I have been trying to get the number off the original one but it is fitted to another car and without removing I cant see what it is.
Do you have a photo of one that you have, so that I can compare it to the block where it fits. Thanks
Any of the 845 distributors will physically fit in the engine and work as a complete unit
Later cars had a larger ducellier type fitted using same cap etc as 1108
Different years and markets will have loads of options on codes on the side etc
Also sev and femsa are possible but rare on 845
No 1108 or 956 will fit in 845 block however similar they look
