After spending an afternoon sorting out the door hinges on the drivers door making new stainless pins and redrilling the hinges to remove the ovalitythe door now lines up correctly which is pleasing. However i was disappointed that a hefty push from the shoulder was still required when opening the door from the inside. The door catch is correctly adjusted and it opens cleanly from the outside, but the inside handle just does not lift the catch far enough for it to clear. So where do i bend, add metal or whatever to the inside mechanism to enable me to stop bruising my shoulder and make a more dignified exit.
