Ducellier Alternator

What voltage is the alternator supposed to run mine runs at 14.2 volt changed it for my spare and that is the same

14V across the battery sounds about right when the engine is running.

That is OK on initial start up but I always thought it should drop to around 13 with a good fully charged battery
All modern cars do
It would be interesting to hear any one else comments
