engine 839A

Hi I am new to your site !
I have recently bought a renault 4 tl owned by one family and 76k km from new
1977 engine nos 839 A 06 0771063
I am confused as to the engine details as Haynes manual does not show this number and there are different timing settings
any idea's about this engine model etc
Your help would be appreciated
