F4 Reinvention

I just purchased this F4.

It needs a lot of work!

Hopefully should give me the components I need to finish the 1971 F4.

Its been reinvented in the past with parts from an F6 and my plan is to reinvent it in some form or other - It will have a bigger engine (I don't have a spare 845 and the engine it came with has no innards)

So 1108, Electric or Better is the plan.

When I got it the studs on one of the front brake drums had sheared off so the first step was to fit a spare GTL hub I had.

Plan was to use it for parts then realised the rust is arguably not as bad as my other f4 which im restoring!

I'm not sure the bulkhead is salvagable its rusted from the inside - the whole area around the heater drain hose has gone along with the area around the handbrake.

Looks like I will just have to fabricate a bulkhead.

Jeez, that's bad. Good thing is that it's a pretty straightforward piece of metal. Or at least: you could reproduce it pretty straightforward.

Pretty sure the whole bulkhead is bad - the area by the heater drain pipe is completely rusted away.

Well i've found an engine - don't think I need to modify the bulkhead as its done it by itself naturally - still alot of modifications required tho!
