Hi folks, I spotted a blue F6 today in Redruth, it was going around the roundabout at Barncoose just as I was approaching said roundabout. Sadly I couldn't go into chase mode to say hello. I wonder who it was, Mr Lobster perhaps?

I spotted a brown Renault 4 van heading southbound on the A5 in Milton Keynes a few weeks back (I wasn't in our R4 at the time though). It's the first 4 I've seen 'in the wild' for years now.

Spotted in Northumberland

My son was driving my 4tl on Berwick bypass about 4 weeks ago and was watching what a tractor was going to do I front of him, he just caught sight of a very good red R4 passing but didn't have time it see properly.

It was just a thought David, didn't really think it was you, but I wonder who it was. 4L saloons are rare enough in this neck of the woods, but vans are even more so, first one I've ever seen on the road in Cornwall. I don't think they were that common when they were in production, so it was very nice to see.

I saw a blue f6 van going into Falmouth today, I gave the thumbs up but I don't think they saw me.

I think it had "standard" wheels David, and no sign-writing on it, just mid-blue like your van. Pepper, welcome to oggy land, are you on holiday or is this a working visit? I reckon it must be the same van eh?

I was working at Trago today, saw it on the way out.

I work for the Rug Doctor, and get around, whilst working.

blue van in cornwall

its my blue van in cornwall down from sussex to visit family . picked up a clio seat from south west renault redruth and fitted it today so drive home will be better on the back :) southwest renault have some gordini stuff in case anyone is thinking of going down that particular rd . all the very best , scareyxt500

clio seat

If you don't mind me asking, which spec / year Clio and does it bolt straight in? I'm still mulling over replacing the Mk1 R5 seats in mine, was going for Peugeot 306 TD seats but haven't found much so far. Clio might be an easier option.

Hello there Scarey, another mystery solved. Hope you enjoyed your trip to Cornwall and thank you for the tip about the Gordini parts, might pay them a visit. Regards, Brian.

thanks cornish 4 . Hello Lobster , regarding clio seat , it doesnt line up at all and needs a certain amount of packing to level , if you are tall ish then you will probably need to take off the runners too . quickest way i found was to mount the seat on an oversize plate , position to suit , clamp , drill and bolt back through original mounting holes . in hindsight probably better off buying a cushion but new seat very comfortable and cheaper than a trip to the chiropractor .
