Hello,

I have engine 1.4, and carburettor webber 32...

katra.jpg

I'm wondering, which is the right connection of the air flow. On the pictures i marked plugs for backair system. How others have connected air system?
How do you connected air from the head cover to webber and air cover?
Witch diameter of pipe do you use? Original system has a plastic part, which had a very small hole?

I had tried a lot of combination, but engine doesn't run well, and on the worst combination, the oil has leaking on the head cover and annoying sound
of valves...

On the picture, i marked connection, so don't look pipes, where they go..;-)

Thank's for help, and i hope that you understand what i'm asking..
Sunny greatings from Slovenia

P.S
Another question, Is it possible to fitt engine 1.6 from Renault Fuego? And if it go, how much modiffication are needed? The head?

MrReno_139 fitted a 1600 engine to his car. The block is longer and he had to change the bulkhead and remove the heater.

I am not familiar with the 1400 air hose connections, but Renaults normally have the plastic restrictor piece with the small hole in the hose to the carburettor manifold. Any connection to the engine side of the throttle valve should probably use a restrictor.
