fresh air flap

[porsche 928]

hi all ,i am looking for a early fresh air flap /steel \ for an R4 1973 for a long time,sits just below the wind screen. if that cannot be found ,how do i go to install a later platic flap? even though i don't like it at all .the car is ready for painting, and and sitting here for months waiting for this part can any one help me please ?many thanks corn. near melbourne australia
